Description

This configuration features huge bore sizes suited for metal manufacturing rolling mill stands, and mining machinery. They support massive radial and axial loads and resist axial forces in both directions. This design reduces installation complexity by having a single common inner race that ensures precise positioning across all rollers. The face to face arrangement is more complicated to use correctly and is less popular than the back to back layout. Its main advantage is that the axial clearance in the bearing will decrease as it heats. It is more prone to overheating without control of heat flow. Still, it is an excellent choice in equipment that requires tight positioning control, provided the operating temperature and heat flow are stabilized. The bearing construction can be customized to meet specific technical requirements.
