Designed to handle a combination of radial and axial forces at a range of speeds, temperatures, and environments for an extended period with minimal friction for typical industrial applications. Sealed units are protected from liquids, vapors, and fine dust, have excellent grease retention but have increased friction compared to shielded and open bearings. Operation above 180°F will significantly shorten the life of standard sealed bearings.
