Designed to handle a combination of radial and axial forces at a range of speeds, temperatures, and environments for an extended period with minimal friction. Shielded units are not well protected from liquids, vapors, or fine dust. KX series ball bearings are designed to significantly outlast all other equivalently sized ball bearings in high-temperature service above 180°F up to their rated temperature. This is achieved with superior metallurgy, elastomers and lubrication selected explicitly for service in the specified temperature range.
